SunRice paddy price of $400 per tonne for the 2025 crop (CY25, medium grain, FY26 results) to its $500 per tonne fixed-price contract for the 2026 crop (CY26, conditional on a quality score, announced September 2025) ÷ 0.70 kg of white rice per kg of paddy (a 70% milled rice yield, the worked example in the University of Arkansas Rice Production Handbook) = 1.43 kg of paddy per kg of white rice = $0.57 to $0.71.
